  2. Combine yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, and salt. Coat chicken and let it marinate for 30 mins (or overnight if time allows).
  3. Cook Chicken:
  4. In a pan, cook the marinated chicken on medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Remove and keep aside.
  5. Prepare Tomato Base:
  6. Blend tomatoes into a smooth puree.
  7. Make Gravy:
  8. In the same pan, add butter. Sauté ginger-garlic paste for 1–2 mins. Add the tomato puree and cook until oil separates (~5–7 mins).
  9. Spice it Up:
  10. Add chili powder, cumin, coriander, salt, and garam masala. Stir well and cook for another 2 mins.
  11. Finish Gravy:
  12. Add cooked chicken, water (as needed), cream, and kasuri methi. Simmer on low heat for 5–7 mins.
  13. Garnish:
  14. Top with a dollop of butter or cream and fresh coriander (optional).
